Have you ever eaten a pickle in an ice bath? No way, me too!

The debut solo show from award-winning rising stand-up Louis Beer – a silly, absurd, and gag-heavy (in a good way) hour about food, bodies, and the rules we place around liking ourselves. Expect multimedia jokes, surreal observations, and a heartwarming message or something like that.

Louis is a winner of Leicester Comedy Festival’s 2026 Circuit Breakers competition and a finalist in the Brighton Komedia and West End New Act of the Year competitions. 'A giddy joy to witness' (Elf Lyons). 'So f*cking funny' (Demi Adejuyigbe).

Audience reviews for Ultra-Processed Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe:

“Great show, Louis is hilarious and is a natural performer”

“Very likeable and very funny.”

“Absolutely loved Louis he is honest funny engaging and delightful all rolled into a self effacing hard working comedian”

Image descriptions: A photo of comedian Louis Beer packaged like a piece of processed food against a plain beige background, parodying the cover of the book Ultra-Processed People. The title of the show in yellow text is “Louis Beer: Ultra-Processed Comedy Show (Work in Progress)”.

Laurels show that Louis won the Leicester Comedy Festival Circuit Breakers competition in 2026 and was a finalist in the Brighton Komedia New Act of the Year competition 2026. There are supporting quotes from two comedians: “A giddy joy to witness” (Elf Lyons) and “Louis is so f*cking funny” (Demi Adejuyigbe).
